Frequently Asked
The mission of St. Joseph the Worker Academy is the restoration of Christian Culture through the formation of boys into Catholic men. We pursue this through classical studies, manual labor, and the sacramental life of the Church.
Our tagline, Classical in Content, Monastic in Method, captures it. Our curriculum draws on the great books, arts, and ideas of Western Civilization. Our method is shaped by monastic rhythm: prayer, study, and work woven together to form the whole man.
Our Horarium weaves prayer, study, manual work, athletics, and fellowship into a single rhythm. The day begins with Morning Prayer, includes daily Mass and the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and closes with Night Prayer.
Young men thrive when challenged alongside other young men, guided by male mentors. Our dress code, athletics, and house system are all designed around forming young men in the virtues proper to their nature.
